Eleanor Melby — Interior Designer // Lighting Specialist

I love exploring and learning things that are everything and anything whimsical and unique. I'm naturally introverted (ISTP personality, over here), but once I get out of my shell I can talk your ear off.

Travelling is one of my favorite things, which is what led me to getting my BFA in Interior Design at Parsons School of Design in New York City. Post-grad, I felt there was more I needed to learn before stepping foot into the industry, so I earned my MFA in Lighting Design at The New York School of Interior Design.

I'm the type of person to let life take the wheel and take me on a ride that I have no control over...and I love it!

I’m damn proud of

My outlook on life. I naturally go with life's ebb and flow, but I also take advantage of my ability to understand how others around me are feeling and how my actions affect them.

Life's hard, but I try my best to make the best of every moment – good or bad. It also helps when you surround yourself with phenomenal people :)

My favorite part of my job

Working with Kasey and Regan!

Aside from them... I love the ever-changing nature of this industry. One day I could be working on a traditional or regal space and the next I could be working on something extremely colorful and quirky!

This makes me giddy

I'm a ceramic/trinket enthusiast, so if I see a cute plate or bowl, I cannot resist! In my eyes, it's a need, not a want.

Other than trinket hunting or getting drinks with friends, laying snuggled up in a ton of blankets—with a glass of wine and my dog + cat, of course.
